Your Data

What we collect. What you control.

What we collect
We collect your first name and email address when you choose to give them to us. In practice that means booking a call through Calendly, or emailing us directly. There is no signup form on this site. We hold nothing about you unless you have contacted us first.
How we use it
To reply to you, and — if you have opted in — to send occasional updates about Personal Singularity. Your details are tagged in Kit according to what you got in touch about, so that anything we send is relevant to you rather than generic. You can withdraw consent at any time and we will delete your details.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not rent it. We do not share it with third parties for marketing. We do not collect payment information through this website. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other surveillance-based tracking.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request its correction or deletion, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office. To exercise any of these rights, email ps@odysseyfilms.uk.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Plausible operates without them. No consent banner is required because no personal data is collected through analytics.
Data retention
Your details are retained in Kit until you ask us to delete them. Emails and booking records are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, then deleted.

The Stack

The tools we use — and why we chose them

These are the four services that touch this site or your details, plus the provider that hosts our inbox. Each one is named because you are entitled to know who processes what — and where the line falls between a service this site sends data to and a mailbox your message simply arrives in.

Calendly — Booking a call
When you book a call, Calendly collects your name and email address so the meeting can be scheduled and so we can reach you about it. This is the main way we come to hold your details at all. calendly.com/legal/privacy-notice
Kit — Email
If you have opted in, your first name and email address are held in Kit, with a tag describing what you got in touch about. The tag exists so that anything we send you is relevant rather than generic. You can request deletion at any time. Kit does not share your data with advertisers without your explicit consent. kit.com/privacy
Proton Mail — Where our inbox lives
ps@odysseyfilms.uk is hosted with Proton Mail, an end-to-end encrypted provider based in Switzerland. This site does not send anything through Proton — it is simply where your message arrives if you email us, and where it stays. We chose it because what you tell us should stay private once it reaches us. proton.me/legal/privacy
Cloudflare Pages — Hosting
This site is served as static files by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data — including IP addresses — to deliver pages and to protect against attacks. We do not have access to that data as a store, and we do not build profiles from it. cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
Plausible Analytics — Site analytics
Anonymised pageviews only. No cookies. No personal data. No cross-site tracking. EU-hosted. Plausible does not sell data or share it with advertisers. plausible.io/privacy

This site keeps no database of its own, and it runs no server that could hold one. Your details live in Kit if you opted in, in Calendly if you booked a call, and in our inbox if you emailed us — nowhere else.

Links Out

Citations are not data processors.

The research page links out to published studies and papers — MIT, Anthropic, OpenAI, Nature, The Lancet, JAMA Psychiatry, Harvard Business Review, arXiv and others. Elsewhere the site links to Odyssey Films, to a Substack post, and to podcast listings on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

These are reading references. None of them receives your data, and none of them is involved in processing it. They are listed here only so it is clear which links are citations and which are the services named above. Following any external link takes you somewhere governed by that site's own privacy policy, not this one.
